maximize REALTOR® visibility.
Raise funds on behalf of PFAR to distribute to the
community at large. One of the most important goals
is to make the community aware of the contributions
made by the Association through its fund raising
activities and large contributions for the benefit
of many segments of the community.

Plan and administer Association educational

Review and investigate complaints by members and the
public to determine whether a complaint warrants a
formal hearing. Investigate charges of unethical
conduct and present findings to the Professional
Standards Committee for adjudication and possible
disciplinary action. Review arbitration requests to
determine qualifications for hearings. Requires
special training and one year PFAR membership.

Local Government Relations

Monitor local
government actions, proposed legislation,
governmental regulations and public policy
pertaining to the real estate industry; recommend
action to the Board of Directors to propose, oppose
or support legislation and candidates; provide
public testimony before the city council and/or
commissions. Promote political fund-raising for the
“Political Survival” and the 99 Club. Support
and conduct political education and awareness
programs. Work with the Association’s Legislative
Advocate. Interact with elected officials and civic

REALTOR® membership covering Association services,
the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the

not association members with a course covering MLS
